How’s your new year’s resolution so far?
I feel that someone has got to start a conversation about this. The end of 2016 is coming real soon yet none of my friends are talking about their resolutions. So let me start with mine. I am 2 kgs away from my weight resolution. 🙂
In case you’re wondering, that’s not a good thing. I am just a few kgs away from achieving my resolution, yet my will to achieve it seems to be found nowhere. I have not been running or eating healthy food since I came back from Timika. I keep on saying that I’ll start running again next week, or I’ll start eating less next week, but they never happened.
It was quite hilarious that I bumped into Loffle Pop Up Dessert Bar last week. As if they knew that I’ve been avoiding diet, the slogan on its wall says, “Someday I’ll be skinny. Today is not that day.”
That is so true in my life.
Loffle is a dessert bar that serves almost every desserts you can probably think of. You can pick your dessert choices ranging from healthy bowls of fruits to toasted bread and juices to milkshakes. I quickly picked a bowl of “Wake Up Call” that is filled with banana, kiwi, strawberries, granolas, etc. It was super tasty and it only costed me Rp 21k! If only Loffle is a few walks away from home, I will be extremely healthy and fit.
The desserts weren’t the only one keeping me there. I took great pleasure in every corner of Loffle and its calming afternoon environment. If you are looking for a lot of fun, Loffle has tons of board games to play with. But if you are looking for a quiet afternoon like me, Loffle wouldn’t be such a wrong choice. The second floor was very much relaxing and cozy. The wifi connection was also another reason to sit a bit longer there.
There was a lot to love about Loffle. The only thing that I didn’t like was its’ location that is miles away from home. I truly wish that Loffle would one day open in Jakarta. Until that day comes, you should enjoy Loffle’s desserts whenever you visit Semarang!
